Moroccan Tile inspired nail art featuring MoYou Explorer 03 stamping plate!

Hi everyone!  I wanted some fun and colorful nail art so I decided to make some stamping decals using MoYou London’s Explorer 03 stamping plate. I really love how bold the lines are and how easy it is to fill in where you want to.  For the colors I used Picture Polish Salt Water and Rebelle. Also, for my ring and middle finger I used Essie Birthday Suit (it’s a milky sheer polish).  I love how it all came together!  I’m thinking about making a video on how I done this later.
What do you think of this look?  I personally love the negative space effect!  I have more reviews to do for Beauty Big Bangs and Born Pretty Store, and also Pahlish has some more polishes coming to me lol.  I’m going to be so busy!!!  Thank you all so much for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Floral Gel Manicure!

Hi all! I just thought I’d share what I’ll be wearing for the next week (or longer).  I wanted to try out some Born Pretty Store gel polishes so I bought some a while back.  I bought the base coat, white and black, and the top coat.  I also used an OPI Gel polish for my ring and pinky finger.  The shade is called Bare to be Different.  For the flowers I used UR Sugar gel polishes (I bought them off of Ebay) and acrylic paints.  Thanks for looking!
I really love how this manicure turned out!  Let me know what you think down in the comments! 🙂

Hi everyone!  Born Pretty Store sent me some fun nail art items to review, and among the things were these really pretty round holographic glitters.  I decided to try and do a faded glitter look and I really like how it turned out!  I used Essie Hubby for Dessert as a base for this look!

If you’re interested in purchasing these cute glitters, here’s where you can get them.  They’re item # 39819.  Also don’t forget that I have a 10% off discount code for their site on regularly priced items!  The code will be down below.  Thanks so much for reading and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Sharpie Floral Nails featuring Beauty Big Bang nail studs!

Hi everyone!  Beautybigbang reached out to me wanting me to review some of their nail-art supplies, and I said yes.  I received the package and as soon as I saw the cute little nail studs inside I knew what I wanted to do.  I also wanted to mention when I opened my package the smallest studs had leaked out and gotten everywhere and I was able to salvage some of them. What had happened was one of the studs got wedged in between the plastic lid and the base and it made a gap.  I got some new Sharpies about 2 weeks ago and had been wanting to play with them, so what better way to combine both the Sharpies and the studs to create a pretty floral look?  For the base colors I used Essie Private Weekend and Kimono-over.  For the stamping plate I used Bundle Monster BM-S183.
If you’re interested in getting the nail studs (or nail beads… whatever you want to call them!) then their item # is J1845 and also here’s a direct link to them as well.  All of their nail art items on their website is super affordable!  What do you think of this mani?  Thanks for reading and I’ll talk to you all soon!  Oh, and one more thing!  You can use my code “LATOYA” for 10% original priced items in their store.

Pahlish August realeases and Swatches!

Press Sample
Hi all!  Long time no see!  I took a little break from blogging to spend time with my kiddos.  Now that they’re back in school I can get back with the program 🙂  Pahlish is releasing some real beauties Sunday August 13th at 7 PM CST.  Four of the colors are from the Afternoon Tea collection, and the other six don’t really have a theme.  Let’s dive on into the pictures shall we?

First up we have Thistle.  This is definitely one of my favorites of the collection, and I think you’ll see why!  This polish is described as a thistle blue-grey cream with multichrome red shimmer.  Uhh yeah, the multichrome red shimmers are what won my heart!  I used two coats.

Next we have Borealis.  This polish is described as a deep bruised plum with duochrome teal shimmer. Unfortunately my camera didn’t detect the duochrome nature of the polish, but trust me it’s there.  I used two coats for the pictures below.

Gilded Olive… What a beauty you are.  This polish is described as a burnished olive gold foil.  At first I wasn’t sure how this shade would look on me, but in the end I love it!  I used two coats for opacity!
Next is Chocolate Diamond.  This beauty is described as a bronze foil.  I used two easy coats for opacity.
Daughters of Triton is next up, and this polish is described as an aqua holographic with glowing purple shimmer and ultrachrome flakies.  I’m a huge fan of blue polishes, so this one didn’t disappoint!  I used two coats for the pictures!
Next is Ursula which is described as a soft garnet holographic with glowing purple shimmer and ultrachrome flakes.  This one is a stunner!  I used two coats.
Now we’re moving on to the Afternoon Tea collection.  I want to go ahead and mention that I used three coats for all of the polishes down below.  There are four polishes to talk about so let’s go right on into the first one!
Chamomile is described as a soft porcelain blue cream with delicate red shimmer and red ultrachrome flakes.  Such a soft and pretty shade! It took three thin coats to reach opacity.
Jasmine is up next and this polish is described as a soft mint green cream with teal shimmer and teal ultrachrome flakes.  Again, a beauty!  I used three coats.
Earl Grey is described as a soft greige cream with red shimmer and copper ultrachrome flakes.  I used three thin coats for opacity.  Also I wanted to make mention that Earl Grey tea is one of my favorite teas!!! 🙂

And last but not least we have Moroccan Rosebud.  This beauty is described as a soft blush cream with pink shimmer and dark purple ultrachrome flakes.  Also I wanted to mention that this polish dries a tad darker than what’s in the bottle.  I used three thin coats.
Well, there you have it!  What do you think of these new polishes releasing from Pahlish?  I think Shannon done an amazing job (as always) creating such a unique and fun collection for August.  And while I love summer, I’m kind of ready for fall.  I love the deep colors and jewel toned polishes that come out around that time… So bring it on!  Again, if you’re interested in any of these beautiful shades, they’ll be released Sunday August 13th at 7 PM CST on Pahlish’s website.  Be sure to check out their Instagram and Facebook page as well!  Have a great weekend!

Fourth of July Manicure! ILNP Good Vibes!

Hi there everyone!  I just thought I’d share what I’ll be wearing for the fourth!  I wanted to do some nail art, but this shade is way too pretty to cover up.  ILNP Good Vibes is a Bright Cobalt Blue holographic.  I used 2 thick coats for the pictures below!
What do you think of this shade?  Isn’t it perfect for summer and the 4th of July?  Thanks for reading today and I”ll talk to you all soon!

Quick NOTD! Featuring Picture Polish Alice

Hi there everyone!!  I just thought I’d post real quick today to share what’s on my nails.  I feel like it’s been forever since I wore this polish!  Picture Polish Alice is a bright blue scattered jelly holographic.  Everytime I see this shade it makes me smile.  It’s definitely perfect for summertime!  For the stamping I used QA61 plate.  I really love all of the arabesque inspired designs!
Also, if you’ll notice, my nails are once again squares.  I’m hoping if I keep them as super short squares they won’t chip on the corners.  What do you think of this shade?  Is this something you’d wear this summer?  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!
